There's so much to dive into with this episode. The thing that truly sparked my interest, though, was the idea of the infinite player, and how they interact with the idea of evil. The idea of "eliminating evil" in and of itself is an interesting concept. But the silencing of evil itself is also the act of evil - wild. The act of silencing is evil. The infinite player, instead of attempting to eliminate evil within others, instead seeks out that own observed evil within themselves, and attempts to eliminate what is within. It is not the silencing of others, rather it is the expansion and growth of the self through the observation of others - which is absolutely fascinating to me. I believe this to be quite true, you can only honestly and truthfully change yourself, not others. Morality and ethics vary from person to person, based on and built from a multitude of personal experiences and ideas, only evolving from within when inspiration has occured for the individual. You can inspire change, you can advocate for change, but you cannot force it. That is up to the individual to find the inspiration within themselves to make the change - to eliminate their inner evil, if you will.

Hi Madison,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It is amazing how often we as humans attempt to change each others minds, only to find that it is a profound experience, not a conversation or idea, that generally changes one's mind. Change truly cannot be fored. We can be inspiring with our words, but each player gets to play the game how they choose! Glad you enjoyed the episode and that the ideas resonated with you.
